(Arvada, CO) – In preparation of the Gold Line opening in 2016, Kipling Parkway at Ridge Road will be reduced to two lanes beginning January 20 through end of March.
The inside lanes of Kipling Parkway, closest to the median, will be blocked off by concrete barriers to allow construction of two new railroad bridges.
The construction company, Denver Transit Constructors, anticipates this will affect morning and afternoon traffic in Arvada and may cause delays near the I-70 and Kipling Interchange in Wheat Ridge. Alternative routes of Wadsworth Boulevard and/or Ward Road are recommended.
