Coyote Talk Given at West Woods
Members of the Arvada Animal Management Unit, volunteers from the Colorado Division of Wildlife and the Citizen Police Academy Arvada Alumni walked and talked with citizens in the West Woods subdivision about coyote activity, methods of hazing and the importance of keeping dogs on leashes at all times.
In addition to the canvassing in the neighborhood, an Animal Management Officer was stationed in the West Woods Golf Course parking lot, talking to citizens about the importance of not feeding these animals and methods of hazing the coyotes to keep them away.
