Crib Recall Protects Children from Potential Hazards
As recently noted in the news, there has been a recall of children's drop-side cribs because of potential hazards to small children.
Prevention is top priority at the Arvada Police Department and we wish to ensure all parents and caretakers are aware of these hazards.
Recalled Cribs:
***Stork Craft recall of +2.1 million drop-side cribs, including cribs with the Fisher-Price logo.
Stork Craft are aware of 110 incidents of
drop-side detachment to include 15 entrapments, Four of the entrapments
resulted in suffocation***

Major
retailers in the United States and Canada sold the recalled cribs
including BJ’s Wholesale Club, J.C. Penney, Kmart, Meijer, Sears, USA
Baby, and Wal-Mart stores and online at Amazon.com, Babiesrus.com,
Costco.com, Target.com, and Walmart.com from January 1993 through
October 2009 for between $100 and $400.
