S.W.A.T.

The Jefferson County Regional S.W.A.T. Team is comprised of members of the Arvada, Edgewater and Golden Police Departments and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The Unit is available 24 hrs a day/ 7days a week to the above agencies within the terms of the inter-governmental agreement. This unique approach insures each agency has the availablity of a highly trained, well equiped S.W.A.T. team while sharing the costs associated with this highly specialized unit.
