FREE Crime Prevention Workshop Nov 5, 2008

The officers of the Community Response Impact Team, Arvada's 2008 Employees of the Month, presented a half-day class on November 5, 2008, from 7:30am--12:30pm. Geared for owners and managers of rental properties, as well as real estate agents, it was a must-see workshop.

This seminar stressed methods to create landscaping and other design factors to keep criminals and criminal activity away from rental properties, ways to work with police to make the properties safer, background checks, and many other relevant topics.

The Community Response Impact Team's information added significant skills and knowledge to attending participants, and provided implementable solutions to actively decrease and discourage crime on their properties. It was designed to help apartment owners, managers, residents, police, and other governmental agencies work together to keep illegal and nuisance activity off rental properties.
