Golfing for a Good Cause

The 2011 W. Michael Northey Memorial Golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2011 with a shotgun beginning at 12 noon at the Arrowhead Golf Course,  10850 W. Sundown Trail.  

You can still register for this wonderful event and golf alongside local police officers, eat amazing food and win great prizes. 

To register or to receive information, call 720-898-6660 and ask for Det. Greubel or Rachel Fast. Four-person golf teams cost $400. Individual entries are at $100. 

The event is a fundraiser in support of scholarships for college students looking to pursue a career in policing.

W. Michael Northey was a police officer for the City of Arvada. On Aug. 13, 1979 he was tragically killed in the line of duty, being struck by a car while making an arrest.
