Missing Man Reported in Arvada Found

Arvada Police are looking for a missing 30-year-old man with the mental capacity of a five-year-old.

He was last seen Monday afternoon. 

Christopher Olsen was supposed to return to the Eldercare facility in Arvada at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2010,but did not report to the location at the designated time. 

Olsen has a medical condition and requires medication. 

He is described as a white male, 5’ 7” tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing tan or white shorts, white button-down shirt and a black baseball cap. He also has a pierced nose. 

UPDATE:   A missing 30-year-old Arvada man with the mental capacity of a five-year-old has been located.

The Arvada Police Department was alerted by staff at a metro area hospital that Christopher Olsen was receiving treatment for a medical condition. 

Christopher Olsen was supposed to return to the Eldercare facility in Arvada at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, September 6, but did not report to the location at the designated time. 

Olsen will return to Eldercare once he’s released from the hospital.
