Northey Golf Tournament Raises Funds for College Scholarships

The 2010 W. Michael Northey Memorial Golf tournament was held in August and raised $6,000 to fund scholarships for college students looking to pursue a career in policing.

W. Michael Northey was a police officer for the City of Arvada. On Aug. 13, 1979 he was tragically killed in the line of duty, being struck by a car while making an arrest.
