Arvada Police Walks to Raise Funds for MADD
The Arvada Police Department Traffic Unit supported Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) by forming a fund-raising team to participate in the Walk Like MADD family walk held at Sloan's Lake Park on August 1st.
The entire City of Arvada was invited to participate in this very worthwhile venture to help MADD in their mission of eliminating drunk driving, supporting the victims and their families, and preventing underage drinking.
- Every year in the U.S. more than 12,000 people die due to an alcohol related traffic crash.
