Officer Glasmann was there at the beginning, January 1996, when Arvada Police Department first introduced School Resource Officers into the high schools and middle schools.

Officer Glasmann returns to Pomona High School

Selected and assigned to North Arvada Middle School  for the past four and a half years, Officer Glasmann recently began this 2009 fall semester returning back at Pomona High School.

Officer Glasmann states, "I love being an SRO, as it brings you close to the students in our community."

"In the school setting, students can have a positive interaction with a police officer who cares about them. I like being someone that kids can go to, confide in, and who will correct them when they have done wrong. I provide a positive role model to some young persons who do not have that in their lives. "

"It's still the hardest job I've ever loved.""
