Costco Gets Hit with Forgeries

SUMMARY:

The Arvada COSTCO reported that they had received forged checks from a male and female between the dates of June 13, 2006 and June 21, 2006.  The suspect couple had obtained COSTCO memberships using false names.  The couple is linked to other forgeries in the Denver Metro area.

As of October 13, 2006 this case is still under investigation.  Investigators are meeting with the DA's Office about this case.  The suspects are known and will be identified in the future.
