The Community Response Impact Team works with Arvada businesses of all types and recognize their unique needs associated with crime.  Businesses are evaluated through a partnership with police to identify what is needed to prevent or deter criminal activity.  Evaluating business practices and using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is often an effective way to change the look of a business that might have been attracting the criminal element in the past.  Working together ensures that all Arvada businesses continue to be successful and to create an environment that is safety minded for the employees and customers.
