Traffic

The Arvada Police Department operates a Traffic Unit comprised of six officers and a sergeant. The efforts of the team focus on addressing traffic-related problems throughout the city from aggressive driving to speeding to red arrow violations. One of the ways the Traffic Unit obtains information about problem areas is from concerned citizens in the community. If you have information about a traffic problem in your neighborhood, while you are driving to work or even while dropping off the kids at school, please use our Traffic Report Form (Under On-line Services) to submit information directly to the department or call 720-898-6829. Another option is to contact the Arvada Police Department's Communication Center at 720-898-6900 (24 hours a day) to relay your traffic complaint for immediate follow-up.
