Soccer Superstars Give Back to Arvada Kids

More than a dozen members of the Edge Soccer Club competitive soccer team will give back to the community on Sunday, December 16 beginning at noon.

The soccer superstars will visit the City of Arvada to wrap Christmas gifts for children receiving presents through the Lighting up the Holidays program.

“Our athletes are greatly supported by the community, and they felt it important to give back to those in need,” said Diane Roemer an active parent with Edge Soccer Club and married to a city employee.

•  Edge Soccer Players ages 10-13 will wrap gifts for children who are part of the “Lighting up the Holidays” Program. http://www.edgesoccer.net/

“Lighting up the Holidays” is a City of Arvada employee run program formed in 2004 to assist families and children in Arvada struggling at this time of year. Rachel Bramblett co-coordinator for this program wants you to know, “this could be your chance to light up the holidays.” Visit www.arvada.org.
