Two people were taken into custody following a bank robbery at the TCF bank at 6428 Gardenia St. just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2008.

The suspect's vehicle was spotted a short time after the robbery and surrounded by police at 64^th and Ward Rd.

The men were taken into custody without incident. Police recovered an undisclosed amount of cash taken in the heist.

The suspects were taken to the Jefferson County Jail and face Federal charges.

The names of the suspects are not being released at this time as investigators are working to see if they may be connected to a series of robberies occurring throughout the metro area.
