Driver of SUV Crashes into Arvada Pizza Place

Arvada police arrested a 37-year-old Westminster woman on suspicion of DUI after she allegedly crashed her SUV into the Woody’s Wood-Fired Pizza restaurant (7995 Sheridan Blvd.), just after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11.

It’s believed Linda Lynn Rubles (DOB: 06-25-70) was involved in a minor hit-and-run accident in Westminster a few minutes prior to crashing into the pizza place.

Witnesses indicate Rubles attempted to turn from northbound Sheridan Blvd. onto westbound 80th Avenue. She hit another vehicle traveling on 80th Avenue, lost control of her SUV and hit a second, parked vehicle and ultimately crashed into the restaurant.

A male and a female, who were dining in the restaurant at the time of the accident, received minor injuries when Rubles’ SUV struck the building.

Rubles was issued a summons while at the hospital. She faces charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving. No insurance charges are pending at this time.

There is no mug shot of Rubles.
