Arvada Police are investigating a double shooting resulting in the death of a 25-year-old Arvada woman at the Westward Look Apartments located at 5684 Kipling Parkway, on Tuesday, November 29 just after 4:30 a.m.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, December 1st, suspect Vincent Ortiz was arrested by Denver PD and Arvada PD officers in the 2300 blk of Clay St.  He was taken into custody without incident.  All three suspects are now in the Jefferson County jail pending charges of First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder. 

Mario Rios, (DOB: 1/28/79), address unknown, In Custody. (Hispanic male, 6'01" tall, 215 lbs. with red hair and brown eyes.

Kenji Jones, (DOB: 7/26/78), Jefferson County, In Custody

Vincent Ortiz, (DOB: 11/29/79), Denver, In Custody (Hispanic male, 6'00" tall, 190 lbs. with brown hair and eyes.
