Attention Customers of Discount Motorcycle Tire & Accessories
The owner of Discount Motorcycle Tire & Accessories made a police report when he discovered that all inventory and equipment had been removed from his warehouse in Arvada. Although it was initially reported to be a burglary, the investigation revealed that a creditor had enforced a lien and seized the property. This information is intended to assist customers of DMTA.
What if I don’t receive my merchandise?
The Arvada Police Department has no way of knowing which orders were shipped prior to the inventory being seized. Customers who placed orders and do not receive the merchandise can dispute the charge on their credit card. Please check with your credit card issuer for instructions on filing a dispute and other options. Customers who used a different method of payment have the option of filing an action in Small Claims Court. Small Claims Court rules vary from state to state, so please check the rules for your area. You may also want to consult with a private attorney.
Do I need to be concerned about my credit card information being in the records that were seized?
We do not have any information to suggest that the creditor will misuse the information contained in DMTA files. If you are concerned about the possibility of misuse of the information, you can contact your credit card issuer and ask that your account number be changed. Customers are also encouraged to speak with an attorney for answers to legal questions, as the Arvada Police Department is unable to provide legal advice.
Will DMTA resume business?
We do not have any information regarding the future of the company.
