ARVADA, CO – The Arvada Center for the Arts and
Humanities, this summer's cultural hub, kicks off its summer events on Friday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the
outdoor amphitheater. The
Summer Event Series is sponsored by the Arvada Press and Richter Scale
Randal Keith, Jean Valjean of the
Arvada Center's award-winning production of Les
Misérables, joins the Arvada Center Chorale and musicians of the Boulder
Philharmonic Orchestra in an evening of classics from Broadway's greatest
musicals, including State Fair, South Pacific, Carousel, The Sound of Music
and Oklahoma!. Theater fans take
note—Keith returns to the Center's main stage in 2010 in the leading role in
the musical Nine!

service for a cost of $11.95 in advance or $12.95 at the concert. Meals can be
ordered when purchasing tickets. In compliance with city regulations, no
alcoholic beverages or glass containers can be brought into the amphitheater.
The Arvada Center offers
beer and wine service. Concessions open at 6:00 p.m. Patrons
are welcome to bring their own meals to the performances.
