Arvada Neighborhood Suffers Dozens of Criminal Mischiefs

 

 (Arvada, CO) – The Arvada Police are investigating nearly two dozen criminal mischiefs that occurred between 10:50 P.M. on June 9 and 1:00 A.M. on June 10, 2014.  

 

Officers received 20 reports of criminal mischief to vehicles. The windows had been shot out with an unknown projectile. There were also three reports of buildings that had been shot.

 

The first calls came in from the 5600 block of Kipling Parkway. It is believed the person or persons then continued up Garrison Street to 9145 Oberon Road, where seven vehicle windows were damaged. The suspect(s) then continued east on Oberon Road, damaging six additional vehicles and one building window.

 

Additional reports were taken in the area of 65th Avenue & Saulsbury Court, and in the area bordered by 60th Avenue and 63rd Place on the north and south, and between Winona Ct and Wolff Street on the east and west.

 

A dark-colored 90s SUV was seen in area with unknown number of occupants. The same evening, Lakewood Police received approximately 15 reports of criminal mischiefs involving a dark colored SUV or Jeep.
