Arvada Police Bust Burglary Ring

Arvada Police arrested a pair of suspects allegedly responsible for a handful of burglaries in the western part of the city in the past month.

Jack Tindall, age 18, of Arvada and a 16-year-old Denver teen were taken into custody on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 as they were breaking into a townhome in the 5200 block of Estes Court.

Police were called to the home when a neighbor spotted the suspects. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Tindall was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and faces three counts of burglary.

The teen was released pending charges.

Investigators have learned Tindall and the juvenile were apparently connected to additional burglaries on Sunday, January 29, 2012 as well. In that incident, Arvada officers tracked the alleged suspects through a neighborhood near Arvada West High School, near 60th and Nelson, but were unable to make any arrests.

Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine if other people may be associated with this burglary ring.

Police have recovered some stolen property including guns, electronics and jewelry
