The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will hold auditions for A Place at Forest Lawn
, to be directed by Terry Dodd, on Monday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 16 at the Arvada
Equity auditions will be held on August 15 from
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Open auditions will be held on August 15 from
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
and August 16 from
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Auditions are by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling (720) 898-7200.
Experienced performers are needed with strong acting abilities. Roles are available for the following: two women 60+, one man 60 +, one man 40-55, two men 30-40. Complete character descriptions (see attached) can also be found online at www.arvadacenter.org/auditions. This is an equity production, although non-equity actors may audition. Some roles may be pre-cast.
Actors should prepare two contrasting one-minute contemporary monologues appropriate to the characters of this particular show. Be prepared for possible cold readings. A headshot and a resume are required. No scripts are available.
