The Arvada City Council is developing a strategic vision for one of our community’s most important corridors: Wadsworth Boulevard between W. 88th Avenue and Interstate 70. Graduate students from the University of Colorado’s School of Architecture and Planning are assisting Council and staff in this endeavor.
Community meetings were held on February 24 and on March 17 at the Arvada Center to seek input from residents and businesses along the corridor. At the March 17 meeting, four possible visions for the Corridor were presented to the public for feedback.
The students presented their findings to the Arvada City Council on April 25, 2011. Their final report was submitted on May 23, 2011. This report, titled "Visioning a New Wadsworth Corridor in Arvada" can be viewed in its entirety by clicking on the link at right.
