Join Arvada Historical Society for a hoe down/barbecue featuring Western Tunes and Tales from Liz Masterson, accompanied by fiddler Julia Hays. In addition to the wonderful music, this event will feature barbecued pork, fried chicken and more!

Liz Masterson is widely known as one of the best cowboy singers around. Her distinctive singing voice, yodeling and sense of humor has won her national acclaim as she tours the country as a solo performer and teacher of the traditional art forms of yodeling, swing and western music. Liz was named the 1998 Western Music Female Performer of the Year and also received the Patsy Montana Cowgirl Award in 2000.

Julia Hays is the fiddler on Liz’s most recent record, Roads to Colorado,which received the Will Roger’s Award for Best Western Album in 2009.
