Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Stenger Soccer Complex: 5675 Oak St (east entrance), Arvada, CO 80002
Perma Green Organics: 5520 Harlan Street, Arvada, CO 80002
In an effort to keep leaves out of the landfill and off our streets the City of Arvada has partnered with Perma Green Organics and Timberline Gardens to provide a free way for residents to recycle leaves this fall. The Perma Green Organics drop off site will remain the same as last year at 5520 Harlan Street. However, the leaf drop off site for Timberline Gardens will now be at the Stenger Soccer Complex, 5675 Oak Street, at the entrance located across the street from the new Apex Field House.
All leaves collected will be processed by Timberline and Perma Green where they are naturally recycled through composting over the winter. Leaves in plastic bags will need to be emptied and no large brush, branches or tree stumps will be accepted. These drop-off sites are for Arvada residents to use during the specified hours of operation; they are not available for commercial landscaping businesses.
- Bags of leaves will need to be emptied into the collection containers.
- No large branches or tree stumps will be accepted.
By participating in this program, Arvada residents help better their neighborhoods by keeping leaves out of the streets and storm drains, reduce trash, and create compost which can be used locally to improve our soils.
New this year is a partnership with Ace Hardware stores in Arvada to provide residents a pack of 5 compostable paper bags to collect leaves in for free while supplies last. See the link on this page to print your coupon.
