Rocky Flats Institute and Museum (RFIM) in conjunction with the Cold War Patriots (CWP) will co-host a reception celebrating the National Day of Remembrance on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with food, drink and live music at the museum’s temporary site at 5690 Webster Street, Arvada, CO.  The reception also marks the opening of a new museum exhibit featuring the Rocky Flats workers.

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the National Day of Remembrance which honors over 700,000 former nuclear weapons workers and uranium miners who served to keep their country free during the Cold War.  This includes thousands of former Rocky Flats and Western Slope uranium miners that served our nation in this capacity.
