The Regional Transportation District's contractor for the Gold Line/Northwest Rail Westminster Segment, Denver Transit Partners (DTP), will close Ridge Road between Parfet Street and Tabor Street on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in order to relocate waterline, sanitary sewer and storm sewer utility lines.
The work on Ridge Road will continue for up to 90 days with segmented or full road closures of the area occurring throughout the project.
This work is part of the construction of the Gold Line/Northwest Rail Westminster Segment which is the commuter train to Arvada, Adams County, Westminster and Wheat Ridge. The project is part of RTD's FasTracks program.
The public is asked to comply with instructions on posted construction signs and to use alternate routes to bypass the area.
