The .5k Endurance Challenge Is Back for 2012

The .5K Endurance Challenge is Back!

Do you want to make a difference without breaking a sweat?  Then the .5K is for you! Do you want to run a race as a family and include everyone from grandma to your infant in a stroller? Then the .5K is for you!

Lace up your workout shoes, grab your family and head to Olde Town Arvada for the sixth annual .5K Endurance Challenge to benefit Ralston House. The race is 1/3 of a mile and will take less than 10 minutes to complete.

This event is great fun AND for a great cause in our community. Ralston House serves children and teens that have been sexually or physically abused. The safe, friendly environment provided by Ralston House allows them to tell their stories and receive support services, including medical exams, as they begin to heal from the trauma they have experienced - without being re-traumatized in the process.

Visit to register for the event. For more information, call Don Moseley, 720-898-6745.

For your registration fee of $20 per adult, you’ll receive a T-shirt, goody bag and plenty of fun, after-race music and events for all ages. There is also a family four-pack available for $60. Children and seniors may participate for $15 each.

The race is August 4th so come early starting at 8:30am for a pancake breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop #600.  Race starts at 10:00 am.  Donations for the pancake breakfast also support Ralston House.
