The First Annual State of the City Address
The City of Arvada, The Arvada Rotary Club and the Arvada Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to the first annual State of the City Address and Community Breakfast to be held at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard, Friday, April 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. During the first annual State of the City Address, Mayor Marc Williams will focus on encouraging the community to find new ways to solve some of the most difficult issues facing older adults, families and children today. Additionally, the State of the City Address is a great way for community members, residents and businesses to learn about the City's recent accomplishments along with its priorities and plans for the upcoming year.
The event is being presented by the Arvada Rotary Club and the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. The Rotary Club will use proceeds from the event to fund projects supporting nonprofit programs in Arvada such as the Arvada Community Food Bank, the Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY) and youth scholarships for students in Arvada area high schools.

Mike Klingbiel, the District Governor of Rotary District 5450, will also be speaking, and there will be a special performance by the Arvada High School Choral Group.
