The Rocky Flats Cold War Museum is moving a few blocks east to a new location and will reopen its nuclear art exhibit July 1 in the new Jehn Center lobby, 5690 Webster St., near the Arvada Library and Olde Town Square.

Throughout the summer visitors can see the free exhibit of oil and acrylic paintings of atomic culture by Doug Waterfield, a University of Nebraska at Kearney associate professor and chair of the Department of Art and Art History.

The exhibit will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
