Wendy's Weekly Water Tip: Get Your Kids Involved

Share water conservation information with your kids. Tell them to turn the faucet off while they're brushing their teeth, and get a shower timer to help them monitor  the length of their showers. The internet can be a great educational tool to help kids understand why it's important to conserve water. Sites like www.epa.gov/water/kids.html and www.wateruseitwisely.com/kids/index.php offer fun games and easy projects you can do at home to get kids involved and informed.  If we teach our children to be water-conscious from an early age, those habits will become part of their everyday lives. The biggest impact we can have on water conservation is to change the way future generations think about water.
