Wolff Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Thursday, May 23, 2013; 2:00 p.m.
8475 West 57th Avenue
The City of Arvada is partnering with the school children at K-8 to have a ribbon cutting for the newly built Wolff Park. We wanted a different kind of dedication; one that involves the students, so all children from third through eighth grades will be excused from class to attend the ribbon cutting and activities.
Those in attendance will include Arvada Mayor Marc Williams, various City councilmembers, Jill Fellman from the Board of Education, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners and approximately 450 school children. The student Leadership Team for K-8 will have a balloon release (biodegradable), skate park demonstration, choir performance and a time capsule burial. There will be a student speaker, in addition to elected officials. Please join us for a day of celebration!
