Order a YWAM Incident DVD

The records concerning the recent shooting tragedy at the Youth With A Mission facility are voluminous. The Arvada Police Department (APD) has received numerous requests for certain records related to this incident. We have determined that compilation of this information in DVD format is the most efficient way to fill these requests.

This DVD includes the following records: nearly 300 pages of case reports about this incident, hundreds of incident-related photographs, all E-911 calls concerning this incident that were received by APD in the first hour after the shooting, police radio traffic at the time of the incident, and a timeline of events related to this incident.

This DVD does not include records that are maintained by any other criminal justice agency, such as those of the Colorado Springs Police Department, the El Paso County Courts, or coroner’s records. As with all complex crimes, the case file for this matter contains certain records that are not releasable pursuant to Colorado law (e.g., CCIC/NCIC information, or information about juveniles), and which are not included on this DVD.

Although this DVD contains a large number of records, should you wish to request inspection of other police records, you must present a completed records request form to our office located at 8101Ralston Road, Arvada, Colorado. Note that there may be a charge for additional records pursuant to the City’s fee schedule.

2. Submit a $40 Payment for the Search & Retrieval Fee.

You must complete both steps in order for your request to be processed.
